Who We Are
From the beginning, the Clothes Clothes & Food Pantry has always been entirely operated by volunteers. We have over 175 men, women, and teenagers (representing more than forty-five churches) who work one or more days per week. Dozens of others volunteer for special events throughout the year.
We receive donations from churches, businesses, and civic organizations, but all of the clothing and household items (and much of the food) comes from individual donors. We are thankful that the Boy Scouts, U.S. Postal Service workers, and churches also contribute a large amount of food.

Our MISSION
The Clothes Closet & Food Pantry exists to help people in Clay County who are in a crisis. We believe that by helping a family meet basic needs and/or pay overdue rent or utilities, we can enable them to stand on their own again. By enabling people to stay in their homes, we prevent them from having to live on the street. We also strive to assist homeless and transient people by meeting immediate needs with food, clothing, toiletries, and blankets.
Each year, hundreds of families are given financial assistance in their time of crisis.
